Cromwell Academy recently had the exciting opportunity to host an Animation Day, led by multi-award-winning animator and writer Leo Wright. Leo brought his wealth of experience, including work at Aardman (the home of Wallace and Gromit) and recognition from 10 Downing Street, to inspire our pupils through a hands-on day of creativity. The children explored storytelling structure, created unique characters, and learned the basics of clay animation and flip book design. This engaging workshop not only sparked their imaginations but also helped develop important skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and self-expression. It was a great day!
